STUDIO COORDINATOR (PM - EVENINGS)

Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with knowledge and working experience in photo/video equipment to join our Night Crew as a Studio Assistant. This is a Freelance 1099 position (to start) with the opportunity to come on to the team Full Time for the right candidate. Your position will include the following responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the studio spaces are well-maintained and client services in all aspects are upheld and consistent with Attic Studios standards and culture

  • Accurately and efficiently pulling lighting, grip, and production orders for clients

  • Staging client orders in studios, production van, and truck in an organized manner

  • Breaking down and setting up the studios for the following day’s shoot/s

  • Checking and testing all grip and lighting equipment to ensure proper functioning prior to client use

  • Manage multiple aspects of inventory control by creating and maintaining accurate inventory counts

  • Directly working with clients during check-out & check-in process of grip and lighting equipment at the studio or on location

  • Properly assessing and completing minor repairs to equipment

  • Maintaining a clean work area at all times

  • Communicating customer requests, order changes, and/or paperwork specifications to management in a clear and timely manner

  • Ensuring that sub-rented gear is picked up from and returned to the correct vendors

  • Serving as the floor Equipment Technician: being the main point of contact for clients in need of troubleshooting equipment

  • Identifying and handling maintenance projects throughout the facility

  • Basic janitorial work around the complex including painting and maintaining cycs

  • Operating freight elevator and coordinating with clients during load-outs

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of still/motion equipment: grip, camera, lighting, etc.

  • 2-4 years of experience in a photo and/or production environment

  • 2-4 years of hospitality experience in a high-end client-facing environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant years of experience preferred

  • Basic computer skills, experience with Gmail, Word, Excel, Dropbox

  • Able to lift up to 75lbs
